Christmas 2010

Merry Christmas!!

Children make Christmas!
The annual nativity with all the darling little great grandchildren of Grandma Brown.

For this game you balanced Christmas balls and the fastest time won.

Of course there were all kinds of guessing games for prizes.

In this game the object was to slide the nuts off the candy cane and stack them.  Nick was actually first.

Heidi was the fastest and they never fell.  Everyone attributed it to her dental hygiene work.

Grandma Brown taught about the Holy Ghost and everyone got comforters.

Paige / Boston talking to Elder Brown Christmas Day!

Porter playing PDA games.

Kelly made these wonderful little capes for the three boys.

In this game you had to bend over with a jello box elbow to finger tip length away and push it over with your nose.  None of the men could do it.  Jarok surmised that the men were top heavy and the women bottom heavy!! Hmmmm...

Grandma and Grandpa Hale joined Christmas Day at Heidi and Mike's home for the opening of Christmas presents, and more fun.

Here are some photos from Christmas in New Zealand taken from Stefan's mission blog maintained by the mission president's wife (Sister Porter).

They had a big mission get together to celebrate.  It gives you a good idea of the many nationalities of people Stefan has worked with during his mission.  These people are all missionaries in his mission.

The Aussies performed first.

Then the Somoans!

And finally the Tongans!

These next pictures are from a leadership conference, and all of the mission leadership wishing everyone a white (baptismal) Christmas.

This last picture is of Elder Brown and his zone.  Every one but one companionship had baptisms Christmas day.  Everyone in the zone had baptisms in the month of December.  Quite and accomplishment.
